Pack 46 Needs Parent Involvement to run...

If you believe ... if you have faith that the ideals of scouting help our boys develop into good citizens and become men who will be leaders, and upstanding, responsible adults ... you need to be a part of what makes Pack46 thrive.

Help us to help all our boys. Pack 46 needs:

Cubmaster-It is your pack responsibility to coordinate the efforts of all the leaders in the pack so that the Cub Scout program works the way it should.

 Assistant Cubmaster:  The Assistant Cubmaster (a) helps the Cubmaster run Pack Meetings, recruit Scouts and conduct the Pack program, (b) supervises the Den Chiefs and (c) fills in for the Cubmaster as needed.

Roundtable Liaison: This person is the liaison between the Pack and the major source of Cub Scouting information.  Each District holds a monthly Roundtable meeting for all of its Cub Scout leaders.The purpose of Roundtable is to help units succeed by providing useful program ideas, information on policy, leadership training, and current information on upcoming Council events and training opportunities.  Roundtables are the best way to find out what’s going on!

Future Membership and Charter Chair: The Membership and Charter Chair processes registration forms and files the Pack’s charter.

Future Treasurer: The Treasurer (a) collects and disburses funds, (b) maintains the Pack’s checking account and (c) prepares budgets.

Future Website Manager: Updates the packs members and calendar on our packs website, Scoutlander.

Pinewood DerbyHead:  The Pinewood Derby, a car race/show, is a Pack Meeting that usually occurs on a Friday in February. The Pinewood Derby head would form a committee so each member will assist in a specific aspect of the event, such as (a) organizing technical workshops, (b) judging and arranging for awards, (c) set up and break down of the track, (d) an announcer for the race.

Pack Awards Chair: The Pack Awards Chair’s responsibilities are to have a working knowledge of all of the Scout advancement plans.  Promote the use of advancement charts in each den.  Collect den advancement reports for the use of ordering badges and picking the badges up, labeling and separating them into the proper dens.
