    Just before Irma came and ruined the weather we completed our 1st camping trip of the year. It was a wonderful trip and the boys worked hard to complete their First Responder, Outdoorsman and Cast iron Chef pins. It was a busy fun filled day with wonderful fall weather. we made some great meals, performed a awesome campfire skit, helped retire a flag and just sta and talked around the campfire. All warmed up for Gold rush and Webelos weekend next.

 Monday August 21st - Pack 306 scouts gathered together to view the eclipse and complete other Nova related activities. Boys and their families learned how and why we have eclipses, build their own solar eclipse viewers, found out about the strong links to outer space exploration and Scouting and several other space related activities. Boys who are working on their NOVA badge should be able to complete the out of this world requirement with todays event.
